(Thank god it's winter break and I finally have a day off!!!)
I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am to finally have a day off to look forward to. It's not for two days yet (weekend job still going), but it IS coming!!! I find that lately I have been a very lazy blogger, with few and far between posts, and boring ones at that! I humbly apologize to anyone as of late reading this pathetic rhetoric. I bore myself lately with my lack of anything of substance to say. So for this reason I shall give an update post... mostly for the sake of "journaling" my life throughout this process. And this being the end of the year and all!
I hope everyone has a Wonderful Holiday, whichever it is that you celebrate!!
Have a great weekend,
~G-Night

- Work has been challenging in the last couple of weeks. I have taken on three new students, and will be adding a fourth on Jan. 2nd. (H) grade 8, is your typical ADHD/ODD/OCD kinda kid... likeable, charming... EXHAUSTING to be around if nothing for the constant need to produce sound at all times. (V) grade 8, one word... SCARY. for anyone that knows the DSM-III, he has 5 diagnosis on axis 1. Never seen anything like it. Never turn my back on this one. (R) grade 7, my new "son", I usually have one every year!! total charmer, wonderful rapport with adults, not with peers, street smart, "man" of his house, LD. (K) grade 6, from the initial meeting to be accepted into the program, seems to be just like (H) only with much more H in the ADHD!! Well see how it goes!
- Second job is going well. Tiring, but good. I definitely enjoy the company of the ladies I work with, they are super supportive of all my endeavors, and staring at all those beautiful baby things all day, certainly isn't hard work! The 7 day work week is certainly a struggle, but the intended result is always in mind.
- I have yet to apply for my school administrator certificate, passed the SLS back in June, but haven't sent it out yet... (this is more of a reminder for me!!) It just lost some of it's priority for the moment, and the money has been allocated differently!! I will get it out there soon....
- I have another wedding, Aunt Judy & Steve's coming quickly. My dress should be in soon, still have to find shoes. AND... yet another on the horizon... for summer 07, although I will be an invited guest for this event..... Thanks J & M!
- The only thing I have left for my Dossier is to get the I171H approval letter back, and take some photos for the family info pages. I plan to do that over the next week while I'm off. My SW called me last week once they had received "official" word on the changes and said that I would be her #1 priority until I was DTC. That was really nice to hear.
I hope everyone has a Wonderful Holiday, whichever it is that you celebrate!!
Have a great weekend,

I am so glad that you are now able to have a break. I was so very worried about you, all these weeks I have prayed each and every night that you are not too overworked! Rest up over the next week or two, make sure you have some down time.
I will give you a ring tomorrow (sun)!
Love Kate
