Thats a whole lotta time gone by..... It's hard to think about another summer school session starting where I have to say yet again, still waiting. Then another 1st day of the new school year looming, yes... still waiting. Since I started the paperwork in Aug of 06... it just feels even that much longer. But, wait I will. As I know from sooooo many wonderful friends I've made, it is entirely WORTH THE WAIT.
So in two years... I've:
Learned a lot.
Changed a lot.
Accomplished some.
Moved on.
Grown up.
Lived large.
Triumphed over challenge.
Dreamed big.
Been sad.
Laughed out loud.
Traveled often.
Enjoyed the quiet.
Took risks.
Been scared.
Made lifelong friends.
Spent frivolously.
Acted spontaneously.
Changed location.
Let go.
Lost some.
Gained some.
Lost some again.
Been thrifty.
Been thankful.
Prayed often.
Loved much.

Kristen~ 2 years might seem like you have a long way to go, but let me tell you that on my 2 year LID~versary, my Emerson Grace was being born to a woman who would choose to give her up in the end. Thanks to my daily postings (for this very reason) I know what we were doing that day. I was at the beach that day, with several of my neighbors, the kids had no school and I remember feeling like I should be given a medal for the longest wait ever. Little did I know that the little girl who would become our daughter was being born. I am extremely thankful for my daily blogging back then. Don't give up hope. Julia Rae is coming home to you soon.
