Weekend wrap-up

It perfectly describes the joy I got out of this past weekend....
These girls were dancing queens and I had a blast being their DJ!

(although... I probably should have cropped out the beer!)

I could never begin to put into words how lucky I feel to have found this group of people. What started as an introduction to "people in the know" has turned into a lifeline of amazing relationships that make me grin every time I speak of them. To know that one day Julia will play amongst this group of sisters makes my heart swell.

Thank you all for such a fun weekend where I was able to dream of my girl, while have such fun loving on yours. Thank you Mare for doing the dirty work this year... thanks Mel for picking us up... Thanks Chris for dropping us off.

I've learned that

• There is no way to get this many women together and not have enough food to feed 1,000 people, even with the best laid plans!
  
• And that seamlessly, someone is always getting the next meal ready for all.
  
• There is never a lack of many conversations going on at once that are intertwined.
• So many children can play together like they have known each other all their short lives.
• Having no cell service (ie.. internet, FB, email) is a non issue when your engaged with people you thoroughly enjoy.
• Even if it's cold outside, the warmth of the inside provides days of satisfaction.

And... there is nothing better right now than knowing that I am about to repack for the next vacation... Cruise ship... here I come! Gawd, right now I live a charmed life!!! hehe!
