On 8/21/14 I became a mom. To that beautiful girl. Julia. After all these years a face to represent that name. This blog began as "a journey to Julia Rae" that journey has finally become real. This beautiful little girl is my daughter. Julia Rae Liu Yin. She will hopefully be in her forever home soon. I have a whole lot too say about this journey but tonight as I begin to rewrite these last years with inadequacy... I leave you with this. My baby.

Hey, do you have any idea as to when you are traveling to bring Julia home? Would LOVE it if we happen to be traveling at the same time and are in Guangzhou, together! Our consulate appointment is 5/19. So, so happy for you!!!!
