So Busy.. yet again...

I feel like I consistantly post of the never-ending busy schedule I currently have.. but alas, it has yet to slow down.

This past week was a marathon that still has no end in sight. After having the horrible bird flu.. norovirus, I feel like I lost so much needed time this month and have been playing "catch-up" ever since. So this is a recap of last week and a preview of the week to come!

Last week;

Monday.. rushed out of work to make a Dr.'s appt that I had to cancel last week, because I was actually too sick to make it to the Dr. ...was pleasantly shocked at the # on her scale.. I guess due to the projectile week I had, followed by a few more days of cautious eating. Left there to run to the tailor to pick up the 2 pairs of dress slacks that I had dropped off 2 weeks before to get taken in.. only to find them again.. a whole size too large.

Tuesday.. At work, told my good friend about my "new size" issue.. she proceeded to try to capture any bird flu.. norovirus germs I may have left in order to drop 10#'s.. eewwwh. I called my hairdresser to reschedule my appointment that I had to previously cancel.. and she had me come over that night.

Wednesday.. At work, my children thanked me for finally getting my hair done so that I no longer look like the "wicked witch of the west". (they get very critical when my gray roots grow in!!) Left work to go to the community center for the "test prep" program that I am the coordinator of... to be stuck there with one child until 7:30 because he had no way to get home and no one was answering the phone on his authorized list...

Thursday.. At work, Meeting with CST for a new student coming from Brooklyn.. via a brief JDC stint for an incident with a concealed weapon. Ohh the fun never ends....

Friday.. At work, another UNSCHEDULED meeting with yet the SAME CST (are they kiddin me?) for ANOTHER child they want to place with me from the same neighborhood as previously mentioned new student. Quick phone call to Superintendant (who doesn't pay me nearly enough) to play "lets make a deal" and offered a trade for a different student rumored to be on their way to me, for this one to be placed out of district. SUCCESS... (man.. do I know how to Pi** off CST's!!) Left work to attend my Bella's 3rd Birthday Party.. Had some much needed (homemade from Mandy) sangria... along with some good laughs with friends..

Saturday.. Went to work, (part-time job) lived through another day of Communion dress h*ll in the shop... asked a co-worker to slap me if I ever come close to putting my daughter through what some of these parents do for this one day in their lives.. left work to go to Joanne's for dinner with her, her fiance Mark & Jane... along with yet another yummy glass of wine (I'm sensing a pattern here!)

Tomorrow.. will go to work (part-time job) attempt to live through another day of previously mentioned C.D.H. and then will head off to Kathy & RJ's for a superbowl party.

Monday... TWO new students, at least from different "neighborhoods" (sadly, I have to consider how the apple cart tips, in regards to "street lines") Then..Faculty meeting after work...
Run to pick up my dress for the wedding I'm in next weekend...

Also.... still need to find shoes to go with said dress, get nails & toes done, run the program again Wednesday night, visit my parents before they leave for vacation, and I'm sure a million other things that I can't currently think of because my brain is FRIED!

So if I seem out of touch.... I'll be back
I think I have a free minute on Feb 19th... it's President's day right??

~g'night all

That's a busy week! I think Krista has the right idea - staying busy will help pass the time as you wait for Julia.

Holy crapoli, you are a busy woman!!! I also see that it took you a week to get back on your feet from the norovirus, because I was out of work 4 days this week because of it!!! Back to work tomorrow for me... ugh!

You poor thing. I know how it feels to have a week go by and you have no idea how you lived through it. Your friend is right though...at least you didn't have a lot of time to think about the wait. Good luck with the shoes, etc. and when life settles down a bit, we can get together :-)

Oh sweetie, no one can keep that up! It is all consuming working 7 days a week and not having a break. I will be thinking about you so much. Let me know if I can do anything (order your groceries online for you etc).
