I received confirmation from my agency today that my Official DTC was April 5th. They explained that they batch dossiers and send on the first of the month. In order to make the first of a month send date you need to have your completed dossier in the facilitators hands before the 10th of the previous month. They received mine on Feb 27th. Therefore it was sent with the April 1st Batch. So, at least I now have confirmation that it was received by the CC*A and with the speed of issuing LID's lately I can *assume* (and i use that word loosely at this point) that I will still have a pre-May LID. It wouldn't be IA if there wasn't frustration, right???
And what's one more month in the grand scheme of things.....
So I am officially DTC 4/5/07!!!!

Happy DTC- I know it's disheartening though to have to wait for your dossier to go with a batch... you've got a good attitude 'cause what else can ya do?

Congratulations on being DTC. I would not be pleased about the delay, but its still one big step behind you! We're DTC 4/12/07 for our second daughter.

Yeah for you - that is wonderful news. I've read on the March DTC Yahoo Group that some people received their LID's in as little as 20-days. I bet anything that you will make it before the May 1st rule change. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

oh honey...I am sorry you are DTC later than you thought. It only took us 19 days to be LID and I am hearing as short as 2 weeks. You will be fine. Your daughter is waiting in China!
