Fun doesn't begin to describe the evening I spent celebrating with her and the three other amazing women I finally got to meet. Melissa and Stacy flew in for the festivities on Thursday, and Colleen got there on Saturday a couple of hours before I did. The whole evening was full of hysterical laughter, some tears, and great food (Thanks John, you ROCK, as always!!!!) and drinks. And yes Heather, if there is a Mich Ultra anywhere in the house, I can smell it and will eventually find it!! LOL!!!!
In addition to just having plain old fun, I received the most generous presents from everyone.
The birthday girl took time out to actually make us these amazing gifts... The Pink Scarf is beautiful. I can't tell you how many people have commented on it the last couple of days. I LOVE it! and the bibs are too cute, and the first ones I have to start Julia's collection.
Stacy gave us this beautiful Hallmark Ornament. Mine is a Snowman Snowflake and the inscription says "Snowman fall from heaven unassembled" It is really adorable.
Colleen bought us all a little piece of truth... "Survivor China" Hats!!! I LOVE it and will wear it proudly.... This is definitely going with me... someday!
Melissa added to my book collection with these two great books. The Dog book is a touch and feel book with movable tails and awesome pictures. The "I Want" book is a sign language book to teach baby how to get what she wants! She also gave me my first Oki Doll, and a Chinese Scroll wall hanging with the sign for patience. It hasn't arrived yet but I can't wait to hang it on my wall!
You are all way tooo generous. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, your friendship is the greatest gift, and these presents were over the top!!! I'm so happy to have met you... and much SASSIER because of it!!!! LOL.. I can't wait to do it again.Now jump on over HERE to get a really good recap of the entire bash...
