And some other stuff....Firstly... THANK YOU Kayce for the surprise package. It came last week, and I keep waiting to post a thank you because I wanted to take a picture of how cute it is... But I still have not found my camera. (secretly, I haven't bothered to look yet!!)
So with that.. I have not taken photos of my new haircut.. Yes, it's back to the shorter version, little past my chin in the front, stacked in the back... and lighter brown and highlighted again... I love it.. much brighter for the summer.
I took no photos of the Special Ed prom on Friday night... it was soooo much fun. I have never seen some of these kids have such a great time being social. I had a blast dancing the night away with them.
And like Connie I'm having a memory loss issue that's driving me nutty at the moment... A woman came into the store on Saturday to buy some stuff for her little bun in the oven. She looked familiar, but when she opened her mouth and spoke... I knew the voice immediately. I couldn't remember her name at first but as soon as her shopping pal said her name, Tracy, I immediately thought yes, Tracy Ma*******. Then she said she thought she knew me too, and then recited my name. BUT.... NEITHER one of us... for the life of us can figure out how or when we knew each other. And I know we were friends of some sort... because the voice was so familiar and we each knew each others full name. SOOO WEIRD. We didn't go to highschool together, didn't even live in the same town. Didn't go to college together... CAN'T figure it out and it's driving me absolutely nuts. How does that happen??? old age I guess!!! But I had the feeling we really liked each other once!!! I told her that if she figures it out, she needs to cal the store so I can stop obsessing about it!! I hope she does soon...
Hope you all have a great week... I'm am looking forward to the Holiday weekend coming up and some good times with good friends. Beach, Sun, cocktails... all on the menu for the weekend!

Wow ... it will go by quick! Tuesday was supposed to be my first day back at work, but instead I had some surgery and am off on sick leave until the end of the school year (and of course summer!) ... yahoo! Didn't put it in the blog 'cause I've kept it hush from almost everyone ... no worries ... NOTHING serious! Hope you have a great long weekend ... nothing but cold and rainy here!!!!!

What's worse it that within a few weeks you will bolt upright from your sleep and remember how you know Tracy. You might feel like you're about to have a heart attack in the wee hours but you'll remember!
Sounds like a good holiday wekend on the slate. I'm on call this weekend so it will be more low key for me.
