IT. IS. HARD.
I just hope with all my heart that I am doing these kiddo's some good. I just love them. I hope that they are learning, that they are thriving, that they are happy.
I am learning. I am thriving. I am happy. I had no idea how difficult this summer would be, but each day I am learning to meet their needs. I am so thankful for my Para's that know these kids and are helping me to get to know them better. I have never felt so out of my comfort zone. But it is such an amazing thing. I didn't know I needed this. But it is such an overwhelming feeling of joy to have their trust and admiration (of which I don't entirely deserve yet)...
My director "knew" what he was doing.... This summer was meant to happen!
We are going to a children's "rock concert" tomorrow... they are so excited... I can't wait to see them shine!!

How did things go at the concert?
What an amazing (if tiring!) experience! I'm sure you're doing quite well and at least you know to find out info if you don't know what to do-that's truly admirable. =)
