A little bit less of me!

Hi....

Just checking in... as always bullet style! it works....

  • Found out yesterday that my only two year old car needed a new Catalytic converter. Who knew that you should service your car every 30000 miles!! Haha! So after 75000 miles things are starting to go. I really beat up my cars. I guess that's why I am always in need of a new one every couple of years. Thankfully it was still under warranty, thankfully it did not happen three weeks from now when that warranty would have expired. So it got a new Cat convert. and a tune up... should be good for the next 75000... when I get rid of it! They did give me a brandy new one as a loner... I am in love. They really outdid themselves with the new one. I love my car, but the new one is FABULOUS!

  • I had an awesome three day weekend. Well, until yesterday that is... (next bullet). Saturday was boring... worked all day at the shop, was too tired to do anything else after. Then Sunday I spent the whole day with Kelly. I finally got to see why I don't get to see her much from Aug. through Dec. That girl is a busy momma. I woke up early (ON A SUNDAY) and went with her through her normal weekend routine.. three hour practice for her pop w@rner cheerleaders (she is the VOLUNTEER coach), then onto the three hour football game her little ones cheered at (secretly I was watching the Jets kill the Titans on my blackberry... wooowhoooo! did I mention they are undefeated... YAY!) She really should get paid for the amount of personal time she puts into this incredible competition team. They are truly awesome, and they end up at the national comp. at Disney every year and they always win... she is extremely dedicated. Then I rushed her away from the late running game to get on the road to make it on time to the "Little House" musical she got tickets to for my Bday. It.was.awesome. The actors (including Melissa Gilbert) were incredible, the scenery was spectacular, and it was just the perfect screen play of the books... I really enjoyed it. We were gone from 9am until midnight. Thank goodness for the extra day off on Monday.

  • Then Monday happened. My engine light had been on for quite some time, so as any girly girl would do... I called Dad. He then called the dealer that told me to get my ass in gear and bring the car over. It needed the above mentioned fix.

  • Then after a very taxing day... I fell asleep on the couch. I never do that. I woke up, rubbed my eyes.... OUCH. It hurt. My contact lens must have had a tear in it and I rubbed that sucker right good. Until it completely irritated the underneath of my eyelid. I felt like I had an actual rock under there. I took out the lens quickly... flushed out my eye with water... no relief. I took out the other lens and went to bed. It was a little better this morning. BUT anyone who knows me, knows the hatred I have toward my glasses. I LIVE in contacts. I had to wear glasses today, and really should for the next couple of days. The rock under my eyelid only feels like a pebble now... but until I get to the eye Dr. I guess I should avoid the contact lens. FRICK! I hate that I cannot see anything. I need to get that surgery... I just can't spare the change to fund it. Should I put up a "chip in" button??? JK!

  • a few more work days till fun with friends... Yay! Mare... you rock those group posts!

  • The rumor over at RQ (see above link) is that they will finally finish March of 06. I don't believe it yet (ok I do... but that's a whole other glass half full issue). That would make 382 days before they get to my LID... or in other words... a gazillion years! Whatever....

  • My "new" SW emailed me to say she would contact me when they get to Jan 07 LID's to start the I800 paperwork. Guess I won't be hearing from her anytime soon. Money saved... that's what I keep telling myself. It doesn't always work to keep me sane. Can't this just be near the end yet. The waiting gets old... and frustrating beyond measure.

  • Work is work... nothing new to report.
That's all I got for a Tuesday. Have a good week everyone.

~Night all :o)
