Thanks to my new bloger friend Krista, I have contacted some other agencies that may have much shorter wait lists. I won't get my hopes up, (who am i kidding they already are!) but it looks much more promising. I had some great conversations with different SW's today and one had me fax my app to her home immediately.
There is a reason for everyone you meet, and being here has proved that to me. Thank you to all who have been such a great help.

Kristen, my agency, AWAA, had a very short wait list when I began my journey. The only thing is that they are a Christian organization and so you must sign a statement of faith and pledge to raise your daughter as a Christian. This fit my values perfectly, so it was a good choice for me. I have been happy with their service, so far. Good luck!
