Paperchase update..

Yesterday I went to the International Adoption Education class at my agency. It ended up being only me and one other couple who are also adopting from China. It made for a very good class because we had the same questions and were able to speak freely and get all of the information we were seeking answers to. I really enjoyed meeting Kathy and David. It would be really nice if we ended up traveling together. We went to lunch together and had great conversation. It turned out to be a really nice day. And another of those... WOW! This is really happening moments!

Next step is the group home study meetings, 2 of em, and then the actual home visit. Today I had my Dr. appt, got the local police clearance, HIV test and finished my autobiography. I'll get my employment & income verification next week, i'll give personnel a break tomorrow, first day back and all!, and have my 1st set of fingerprints done on the 13th. That will be it for the HS paperwork. Then starts the redundant part of doing everything again for the Dossier. Whatever it takes!!!!

And now to quote Shannon "I have to get up at what time tomorrow.!?" I'm a little scared at whats in store for me since I have not made it there ALL summer! Lots O work to do tomorrow. My optimistic Para says "At least it will make our day go by quickly!" She has no idea how much work I have in store for us!! It may also keep me from wanting to shake dumb people... like the ones Shannon had to deal with today! I just hope I have your patience!!
