Every summer, every Thursday, is fireworks on the beach. It has become our summer ritual and every year I'm sad to see it end. Last night was my last night because I go back to work next Friday, just staff no students yet. I know.. go in for one day and then have a 3-day weekend doesn't make much sense. Whats more annoying is I have to travel about an hour to work and then sit in the shore traffic for about 2 or more to come back home, on a holiday weekend. Not my fave thing to do but it definitely marks the "unofficial" end of summer. How very sad. At least I had a fun night with my favorite girls, playing in the sand and watching the fireworks.

What a great time in the summer. Now, you can hunker down in the wind down and get that paperwork cranking!
