Today was the first day back, I am completely exhausted and the kids don't even start until tomorrow. So as bad of a blogger as I have previously been... It will probably be worse for a week or two until I get my groove on.
I spent my last days of summer soaking in every ounce of sunshine I could... I was at the beach until 6pm last night, just to get my fill. Although, this is my favorite time of year and I usually end up on the beach more now than the rest of the summer... The tourists have gone home, and I can reclaim my territory. The sun is still shining, and it was a balmy 91 degrees today. I look forward to the return of "my boys" tomorrow and hope that they survived the summer without too much trouble. It's a new year, I'm over the job change disappointment, and I have a lot to look forward to this year.
I decided to give the "rekindled romance" a decent chance, as things are going really well. I let the other two know that I am currently "occupied". I'm happy (said with a slight grimace) with just letting things happen and trying really hard not to over analyze, and just "be" with my man. I'm pushing back all of the "where is this going" attachy stuff in my head and just enjoying the moment for as long as it lasts... this is not an easy thing for me. But I am trying to be less intense, and let things proceed in their own time. I REALLY like this guy, and I don't want to mess it up with technicalities. His friendship and companionship is too important to me. We care too much about each other, been through too much together, to be flippant about commitments. All in good time. nuff said...
