Family...

Did you ever just meet someone and know immediately they would be your new "family"?

I have... And it came out of this whole crazy bloggy world. Most of you already "know" her... but I have to claim that I "know" her. She has become one of my most favorite people. My Sister. We can spend over an hour on the phone (often) talking about everything and nothing at all, but in the end only hang up because, dinner is calling, or whatever... not because we are done talking...But becuase life has to happen. I miss her when I don't talk to her, I look forward to our regular emails, and our get-togethers.

I just wanted to post about how great this community we have become a part of IS, and how wonderful the friendships developed ARE.

You all lift me up when I need it and I don't take that for granted. I am glad that we are in this together, and I am forever thankful for the friendships that have developed. My wish for everyone is that you take the time to really get to know everyone you feel compelled too. Who can't use more friends in this world? Especially, those who truly understand this IA world we are living in.

I can't wait to see you both... that means you too John, next weekend... Thank you for becoming part of my family. Miss you... see you Saturday!

Head is an awesome chick! Just love her.

I absolutely agree with you on this one. The I-Con is now one of my best friends and we met through these silly blogs. Thank goodness we only live 45 minutes apart. The same for Tracy and Alison. They live 10 minutes apart but met through their blogs. But if you see them together you'd think they were friends from high school or something cuz they're so close.

Plus I've made so many other great friendships who would rank right up there too. I just wished they all lived closer. That's the only hard part.

You couldn't have said it any better! I have lost a few VERY close friends in this process, but I've made friends with people that will last a lifetime. Stephanie over at The Eternal Knot and I have become like sisters as well. She may live 3 hours from me, but we still go shopping together when we need the pick me up. We just get on the phone and sit at our computers and shop online together!!! LOL!

That's so great! I, too, have made many friends through this blogging experience. Bloggers are good people. They make good friends! :-)

This world of China adoption is truly amazing, and some of my most cherished and closest friends have been gained this way. Heather I count amoung them (though I've only met her once)... I hope one day I will get to meet you too!

Holy crap, girl - you are too amazing! I don't know what to say, I truly don't! How do I follow a post like that???

Anything I say will only be redundant, because I feel the same way about you. Sometimes you click with people, sometimes you don't. And sometimes you are reunited with someone you know that you must have known before, in a different lifetime, and you pick right up as if you've always known one another... THAT is how you and I are - like peas and carrots :)

I love ya girl, and my only regrets are that I didn't meet you sooner and that you don't live closer. But hey, you haven't bought your house yet, so there's always time for me to guilt you into moving closer to exit 135 (or hey - how about NORTH of it!!!! YAY!!!). I cant' wait til Gracie and Julia are home and we can go and rent a house down the shore together... I just can't wait! But in the meantime, we'll plod happily along, drinkin' our two-buck Chuck :)

Love love love ya - can't wait til you come visit next weekend!!!!!

Hugs,
Head :P

I am so happy that you have found "family" with Heather. That is so awesome.

While I don't really KNOW either one of you two, I am happy that I've found you both - and I hope one day the "New York gathering" will happen, because I'd love to meet you both.
