- Well... the minutes from the board meeting were just as I assumed (or heard) No surprises... but nonetheless... jawdropping. Some of the new 'administrators" have a lot to prove... they have very little teaching experience and no administrative experience... it should be an interesting new year... I wish them luck... but like I said, will watch the drama unfold.... Bwahhhhhhhahaaahhhhh!
- SO glad the weekend is upon us and that for me it is an unscheduled one for the first time in awhile... looking forward to some down time.. and time to clean my disaster of a house. Still toying with the idea of a purchase... but looking at all of the angles and finances before making a real decision... It's always fun to look and gives me the push to get things in order. It will come soon... just when is the question. There is a lot of choices out there so I'm not in a rush.
- I got my position for the summer yesterday... Kindergarten autistic. Kinda sad that I didn't get my old computer teacher gig back... but glad to have the employment. I will have one of my absolute favorite kids from last summer back... The little asian boy that I just love love love (remember him?)... He was finally classified autistic (blatantly obvious last summer) So I will be very happy to have him back in my care for the 6 weeks of summer school. It will be a long and hard summer, but I just love those kids... so the reward is worth the work.
- 7 days left to this school year... and my finale in the self-contained world... I have so much stuff to cart home and find a place to store... not looking forward to that transfer! It will make me clean out my storage unit, which is totally in need of reorganization... any bets on how long I will drive around with that stuff in my car before it has a home???? sonotlookingforward to that task! imjustsayin!
- My pop got a tattoo of my Nan's name on his arm this last week... He's 84 and has never had a tattoo... Can I just say that HE ROCKS! Seriously... I'm at a loss for words... It just makes me smile big... really BIG!!! And my Julia, i'm sure will love that "her" name is on his arm... SMILE.... I love you Pop.... you never cease to amaze me. Here it is:

Glad to hear ya got summer school. Working with the ex? Is that happening? I so wish NJ would get their shit together so you didn't have so much stress with work.
I totally feel ya on the buying a new house. I want to SO BAD now that the residency rule has been eliminated. For the first time in 20 yrs of employment I'm no longer forced to live in the city. The desire to move is overwhelming ...the suburbs, the country, I could live anywhere! But alas... I'd have to sell my house first which is not a task I'm up to right now. Sucks.
And can I just say how much I love that tattoo!! Very cool!
Very nice tattoo! Your dad is way cool! You are gonna be super busy at summer school, girl! The kids are lucky to have you as their teacher. Good thing for those three day weekends. =)
